Laundromat Chicks have revealed their final album teaser in the form of ‘Secrets’. The Viennese band have outdone themselves with this new track, which swaggers and jangles its way through four minutes of beautifully simplistic but extremely effective hooks and Smiths-esque guitar breaks. They explain that the track is “less about the things people keep from each other, more about the things we take for granted about another person. It’s very obviously a love song and very obviously inspired by the Field Mice.” The band are releasing their new album, Something Possessed, on January 24th, 2025, via Siluh Records. -Dan Peeke
